David serves as the President of Benefit Management, Inc. (BMI). Since his purchase of BMI in April 1989, he has focused on steady growth of the company via administration of successful health plans for schools, city and county governments, native American enterprises, manufacturing firms, and service organizations. David began his health benefits career as an actuarial analyst and underwriter in 1978, and his role at Blue Cross expanded his breadth of knowledge to include PPO and UR management.

Karen serves as Director of Operations for Benefit Management, Inc. (BMI). At BMI she is responsible for general oversight of enrollment, billing, claim processing, COBRA, and Flexible Spending Accounts. Karen has 15 years of experience in stop loss, reinsurance, account management, new business implementation, customer service, and operations.

Stacey has served as a Claims Manager for Benefit Management, Inc. (BMI) since 2018. Prior to that her role was focused in flex benefits and COBRA administration from which she got promoted to Junior and then Senior Examiner. Having started her career at BMI as the mailroom tech, Stacey is a valued asset who continues to excel in customer service and the handling some of BMI’s most prestigious accounts.

Karen serves as Lead Claims Negotiator for Benefit Management, Inc. (BMI). At BMI she uses her education, skills, knowledge, and experiences to effectively review and communicate quality services to BMI’s clients as it relates to their benefit plans. Karen has been a Licensed Practical Nurse, IV certified in Joplin, Missouri for 22 years, and she has extensive clinical experience in Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
